IRB internal thread cleaner

IRB brushes clean internal threads in nuts and threaded holes. Each brush has a fixed size; it is driven by a suitable electric or pneumatic drill.

What matters when selecting a tool.

For blind holes, usable depth, chip space and accessibility are important. Extensions and extraction adapters are selected according to brush size. Standard brushes are stainless steel; other materials and inch versions are available on request.

Specify the appropriate version.

The range is often described as M4–M72. The item list in the data sheet and the WSD range list also include M76 and M77. These are individual sizes, not a continuously adjustable range.
